From the Swan Valley and Geographe Bay to Margaret River and the Great Southern; The South West Edge is packed with incredible wineries and cellar doors.
We know that parents travelling with children want to enjoy these places as much as solo travellers, so we thought weโd round up our favourite family-friendly wineries and breweries along The Edge. The South West Edge is full of places that will appeal to everyone in the family and ensure parents can relax and indulge in some of the world-class food and drink on offer.
Pinkyโs Beach Club, Rottnest Island
We know this isnโt a winery or a brewery, but we couldnโt compile a list of our favourite spots without including Pinkyโs. Located within Discovery Rottnest Island sits Pinkyโs Beach Club, where you will enjoy sensational views of the beach and Bathurst Lighthouse. Donโt worry if you arenโt staying in one of the glamping tents, the beach club is open to the public, with an amazing cocktail list and locally inspired dishes. The large grass area is perfect for the kids to run around, with plenty of lawn games around to be played. There is access to the beach where they can build sandcastles and dip their feet in the ocean.
Little Creatures, Fremantle
A favourite among Freo locals and travellers alike is Little Creatures. Settle into the rear courtyard, which has views over the Fishing Boat Harbour and while away a lazy afternoon. The kids will be kept entertained in the huge sandpit and toys, plus the delicious pizzas on the menu, meaning you can sit back, relax, and enjoy a couple of craft beers.
Swings and Roundabouts, Yallingup
A family-friendly winery list wouldnโt be complete without the ever-popular Swings and Roundabouts. Boasting a casual vibe, this is a fantastic spot to relax and soak up those gorgeous surroundings. The kids (and you) will love the woodfired pizzas and thereโs plenty of space for little ones to explore.
